Here’s how EMPOWERED Feelers is structured:
Week 1
"E" - Emotional Sensitivity
Delve into what it means to be emotionally sensitive, examining both the biological and psychological aspects.
Week 2
"M&P” - Myths and Purpose
Address and debunk the common myths about emotional sensitivity that can negatively impact your self-esteem and interactions.
Identify more adaptive beliefs that you can rely on in moments when your feelings are intense.
Understand the critical roles emotions play in your life.
Week 3
"O" - Observing Emotions
Master skills for observing, describing, and identifying emotions.
Learn techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness that will help you to maintain emotional balance.
Week 4
"W" - Wise Mind
Apply the DBT concept of Wise Mind to your daily life.
Reflect on when you are in Emotion Mind, and practice listening to your Wise mind.
Week 5
"E" - Emotion Regulation Skills
Learn emotion regulation strategies that you can apply to your daily life right away.
Week 6
"R" - Radical Acceptance
Learn how Radical Acceptance is a key strategy to help you get off the emotional roller coaster.
Practice applying radical acceptance to a scenario in your life.

No—this course is not therapy. While it will teach you skills that are based on therapeutic modalities, the course is an educational service designed to help you learn and practice skills.
If you are in need of therapy, please seek out a provider. There are several ways to start your search. Begin by checking with your insurance provider to find in-network therapists or inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network providers. You can also explore directories like Psychology Today, TherapyDen, or Zencare, which allow you to search for therapists based on specialty, location, and availability. Asking friends, family, or trusted professionals for recommendations can also be helpful. Finding the right therapist may take time, but it’s an important step toward prioritizing your mental health and well-being. You deserve support!
Most importantly, if you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call a local emergency telephone number or go to the nearest emergency room. This group experience is intended to teach you educational mental health content and support you in building community. It is NOT a substitute for seeking professional mental health/health advice from your doctor or therapist. Interacting with my channel does NOT constitute a therapist-client relationship.

I get it—life is so busy! We live in a society of go, go, go, and it can be extremely overwhelming. One way that I think about this program is as an investment that will help you get back more time. When you put in the time to learn tools now, you actually end up having more time when you use these tools. The strategies in this course are designed to help you feel less overwhelmed.

Well… first and foremost, I am emotionally sensitive, and I use these strategies in my own life. I was inspired to create this program because I suffered for many years on a roller coaster of emotions because I did not know these strategies and concepts. When I learned and started using emotion regulation strategies, my life changed. I want other sensitive people to have access to this information as soon as possible.
Additionally, I bring nearly a decade of experience in the mental health field to this course, and I have spent countless hours helping individuals connect with their emotions, manage big feelings, and build empowered, fulfilling lives.
I understand that it can be hard to trust me - we haven’t even met before! The good news is you do not have to trust me to trust the research. The "Empowered Feelers" program is filled with evidence-based strategies that help people change their relationship to their feelings. While this course is not therapy, it incorporates concepts from numerous therapeutic modalities, such as DBT, ACT, and EMDR.

Item desIf you’re unable to attend one of the sessions, you’re welcome to wait for the next cohort if you’d prefer.
That said, in my experience, it can be challenging for most of us to find six consecutive weeks where our schedules are entirely free—we are busy humans! If you are able to make a majority of the sessions, I do believe you will find that Empowered Feelers is worth your while.
Also, if you miss a session, you’ll have access to the replay so you can catch up on what you missed. You will also receive the slides from that missed session, and chat with your peers about what went down.
Many participants find that staying engaged with the group, even if they can’t attend every session live, is still incredibly beneficial.
